A LOQI is an eco-friendly, OEKO-TEX® certified product.This is proof of our commitment to producing sustainable products without harmful substances. The certification includes tests for illegal substances, legally regulate substances, substances which are harmful but not yet regulated, and also includes precautionary measures to safeguard consumer health around color-fastness and skin-friendly pH-value. The LOQI factory is accredited by BSCI, the European social monitoring system for ethical sourcing established by the Foreign Trade Association. It unites companies globally around one shared code of conduct based on the work guidelines of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) and the UN Charter for Human Rights, among other universal guidelines. This third-party verification confirms the factory’s compliance with labor laws, employee health, and safety and environmental initiatives.

The LOQI factory is proud to be GRS 4.0 certified by Intertek. The Global Recycle Standard is an international, voluntary, full product standard that sets requirements for the third-party certification of recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices and chemical restrictions. GRS is established as a leading standard for verification of recycled materials in the apparel industry and defines good working conditions and the minimisation of harmful environmental and chemical impacts as indispensable certification criteria.

FSC® refers to the international non-profit organization and worldwide standard for sustainable forestry, the ‘Forest Stewardship Council®’. The FSC Recycled label was introduced in order to recognize the important role that recycling paper and timber plays in protecting the world's forests. The organization’s high standards mean that FSC® is the only forest certification scheme endorsed by the major environmental charities WWF and Greenpeace. You can unbox your treasured LOQI knowing for sure that the paper cartons and product packaging are 100% recycled.

This certificate issued by TÜV® certifies that our polybags used for packaging are 58% biobased. As a result of the increased environmental awareness among customers, there is a growing market for products on the basis of renewable raw materials. An entire body of microorganisms attacks the material to be broken down. We are working towards finding a better solution for our polybag packaging to be 100% biodegradable.

At the LOQI factory, nothing goes to waste—not even dye. Leftover colors from printing are recycled and mixed to create black for monochromatic designs. No bleaches are used, and all our eco-friendly dyes are STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified.
